One of the surrounding factors about the Tennessee Titans, new head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is the amount of cap space they have to spend this offseason. It is exciting for the fans to know the team has money to spend and get pieces to win now along with a top 5 pick in the upcoming draft. What free agents will the Titans go after? They have options but these are the ones I would love to see become Titans this offseason.
George Pickens
2025 Stats: 137 Targets, 93 Receptions, 1,429 Receiving Yards, 9 Receiving Touchdowns
George Pickens is a lot, there is no doubt about that. His effort is questioned some times but his ability and talent are undeniable. The Titans need a true, legit number one receiver that defenses fear. That is not Calvin Ridley. George Pickens is that and would be great for second year quarterback Cam Ward. I expect the Cowboys to tag Pickens but that does not rule out the Titans being in play for him still. The Titans did a tag and trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for L’Jarius Sneed. If there is any chance the Titans can sign him, I expect them to make a push.
Breece Hall
2025 Stats: 243 Rushing Attempts, 1,065 Rushing Yards, 4 Rushing Touchdowns
This one I am fairly confident this can and will happen because of the connection between Hall and Saleh. He is a free agent and has not had any team success in New York with the Jets. Hall could be looking for a fresh start with a new team but with a coach he knows and what is expected and what he is going to get.
Alec Pierce
2025 Stats: 47 Receptions, 1,003 Receiving Yards, 6 Touchdowns, 21.3 Yards Per Reception (League Leading)
Alec Pierce could be perfect for the Titans because he will bring diversity to the receiver room. He is a deep threat and can fly, along with Chim Dike. I do not think that Pierce is a wide receiver one, but he is a very good number two or three depending on how deep and who else the Titans sign. Pierce alongside Pickens would be incredible for Cam Ward, and the upside still ahead with Pierce.
Devin Lloyd
2025 Stats: 81 Tackles, 1.5 Sacks, 5 Interceptions, 1 Fumble Recovery
Moving to the defensive side of the ball, the former Jaguar had an unbelievable year and he is young. The Jaguars declined his fifth year option and they still might resign him, but he is set to hit the market and putting Lloyd alongside Cedric Gray would be NASTY. Lloyd is a three down linebacker and is so versatile. The man had five picks last season and a defensive touchdown last season. That is pretty remarkable production from a turnover standpoint for a linebacker and the Titans need to create more turnovers and be feared.
Jamel Dean
2025 Stats: 46 Tackles, 3 Interceptions, 9 Passes Defended, 1 Sacks
Staying on the defensive side of the ball in the secondary comes Jamel Dean. When the Titans signed L’Jarius Sneed, everyone thought they were getting lockdown corner they needed. WRONG. What a let down that has been. The Titans really need Kevin Winston to pan out and sign a top DB that can go against and be reliable against any teams number one wide receiver. Dean was one of the highest graded DB’s in the NFL this past season and he is reliable in both zone and man coverage. Dean allowed one of the lowest passer rating when targeted last season. The Titans need that. They need a true, lockdown defensive back.
The Titans have a lot they can do with this cap space available and these are some moves I would love to see happen but that is the exciting thing about free agency, everyone becomes a GM for that time period for the team they love. Who would you like to see the Titans sign that is not on this list?
